Students are meant to live with passion – to pursue things that seem too big for them to handle, to express ideas more maturely than is expected of them, and to live with an exuberance that trumps the daily grind. About 80 percent of the students who start with us have this ambition, but don’t know how to get there. That’s where we come in.Our only question is, What do you think you can achieve by the end of high school? The correct answer always is: Much more than I thought I could. We’re here to walk with you through every step of the counseling process: shaping your formative years, sending you off to top boarding schools or summer programs, creating innovative educational programs, and moving middle school and high school students toward the school selection of their dreams. If you walk in our doors and stay for a while, you will leave with significantly more information. We preach passion, not fake formulas for college or boarding school admissions. It’s just that simple. History Established in 2006. IvyEGG is an idea-made-reality: IvyEGG hatched when our CEO was fresh out of Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and wondering, What is something no one else is doing in education right now?The rest of our story reads like a happily-ever-after: After extensive work with major players in the education industry, Mrs. Kim created a small, personalized company that incorporated all the expertise of a high-powered firm. Our business started with a small bunch of curious, adventurous high school students and their parents. They were accepted to universities beyond their original hopes and said to neighbors and friends, “This IvyEGG company is pretty fantastic. Go check them out!”
Prior to founding IvyEGG, Inny Kim developed educational plans and curriculums for many prominent international educational organizations. She was the Manager of International Expansion at one of Korea's largest English education companies. Served as Academic Director at Princeton Review Korea for Programs and College Admissions, and was prominent lecturer at Seoul National University Graduate School of Business on Global Presence and International Recruitment. She also has over four years of experience working in Amherst College Admissions and reading Yale University applications.
