Fox LSAT offers LSAT test prep classes, online tutoring and in-person/Skype private tutoring. The biggest difference between Fox LSAT and everyone else is that all my classes are taught by me. I’m the sole instructor and I’m also the owner of the business. The prep industry tries to convince students that the test is hard, bordering on impossible, but the secret truth about the LSAT is that it’s actually easy. My job is simply to demonstrate an expert approach to the test. Once they see me do a couple dozen Logic Games on the board, they realize that it’s really just a series of baby steps, and that they’re plenty smart enough to master it. Students start out saying, “Wow, Nathan makes it look easy.” Soon, they say, “Oh, I see, the LSAT actually is easy.” History Established in 2009. I started Fox LSAT between my first and second years of law school at UC Hastings, in San Francisco. I actually hated studying law, but teaching, for me, was love at first sight. I particularly enjoy working with pre-law students because they’re so bright, passionate, and hardworking. Furthermore, the LSAT itself is highly logical… it just makes sense. For almost a decade now, I’ve loved helping students see how easy it can be.
I took the LSAT in February of 2007, and scored 179. In 2008, and enrolled at UC Hastings Law. I was 32-years-old at the time, and I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I already had a master's degree in journalism, an MBA, and felt unfulfilled from a succession of different jobs. After graduating from Hastings I happily decided not to take the bar exam. Because the same year I started law school, I discovered my true passion and obvious calling in life. I'm not a lawyer. I'm a teacher. I taught for over two years with one of the big prep companies before starting Fox LSAT. I wanted to simplify the curriculum and focus more on the things that really translate into higher scores: fundamentals, confidence, and a happy, focused mindset on test day. I teach how to have fun with the test, leading to dramatically increased scores. Additionally, my methods not only prepare for the LSAT, but for the critical thinking required in law school.
