I know how hard it is to find a trust-worthy, experienced, and knowledgeable tutor. Luckily, I am a career tutor! I do this for a living, meaning that I understand how important these things are. I have worked with nearly 200 clients to date, so I have done and seen it all when it comes to tutoring; I have worked with students who have learning challenges, such as ADHD/ADD, and I have also worked with straight A students who want to get ahead. My biggest strength as a tutor is my ability to relate to my students and understand where they are coming from. I can assess their level of understanding and teach the material in a way that makes sense to them. I have great communication skills and have a natural ability to explain things in a simple manner. History Established in 2006. I started tutoring for a friend my sophomore year of high school. I fell in love with it and continued to do so throughout high school and college. Upon graduation, I had no idea what I wanted to do. After thinking long and hard about what I was passionate about, I realized that education was right for me. I love working one-on-one with others and building relationships. I also have always loved school and academia, so it’s a perfect fit. I now tutor regularly 30-40 hours a week and couldn’t be happier with the unconventional career I chose!
Hi! My name is Nicole, and I've always loved school, although I acknowledge it's not everyone's cup of tea. I have been tutoring since high school, and it is now my mission to make school a little overwhelming and a little more enjoyable. I am passionate about teaching because I love explaining seemingly complex concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand manner. My favorite thing is having my students ask me why their teachers never explained it to them that way! When I'm not tutoring, I can be found doing yoga, hanging out with my friends, or exploring new places.
