Class 101’s mission is to provide families with expert guidance in the college search, admissions, and financial aid process. Our dedicated counselors help high school students identify their college goals as well as support them in the steps necessary to achieve those goals in the most cost-effective manner possible.
Steve Shishani joins the team as the owner of Class 101 Cupertino, CA. Over the past 30 years, Steve has held leadership and executive positions in the technology and education sectors. Steve earned a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration. Steve’s career in academia included his tenure as a faculty member, department chair, dean, and president of multiple proprietary institutions of higher education. This service provided him with a unique understanding of and appreciation for the educational process as perceived by stakeholders at all levels including the institution, its students, and their families and communities. Steve aspires to dedicate his lifelong experiences in coaching and leadership to the service of young adults and their families in his community. This includes helping students and parents understand institutional expectations, the admissions process, financial implications, and their current state of preparedness. Steve is excited about bringing Class 101’s positive societal impact to his immediate community in the Silicon Valley of California.
