At some point, all students could use a little help, whether it’s reading comprehension, algebra or geography. Often, some extra time outside the classroom focused on that one challenging subject is just the trick to boost their grades and improve their understanding. We really believe each kid can succeed, and because each kid’s needs are different, we personalize the tutoring approach to match that. After teaching in the school system, Shuster realized that what students were lacking was one-on-one interaction. We opened Brainy to provide custom attention, not cookie-cutter programming, to students of all grade levels and in all subjects — in other words, to give them the support they were missing.Brainy is a place where children can go to get the help they need from teachers. One-on-one help or small group help are among the options available. Brainy looks at each child’s strengths and hones in on the skills and uses them as a foundation for building the blocks of success.
