Tutoring – We provide individual instruction at our expanded resource center. Students of all ages receive customized plans to meet their needs for support and academic enrichment. Study skills and educational consulting available too.Test prep – SAT, ACT, PSAT – private instruction and small group, intensive weekend courses offered regularly.College counseling – stay ahead of the curve with college planning, selecting colleges, and navigating the college application process. Test proctoring – supervised services offered with flexible scheduling on-site. Free Lending Library – We have a large selection of books and resources for students and parents available to borrow- plus a small collection of “please take” books History Established in 1984. Originally purchased by a reading specialist and parent who wanted to help young students become better readers and gain confidence in their academic ability, the California Learning Center has helped thousands of students of all ages. Over the years, it has grown and maintained its highly customized program. Under new ownership, the center has expanded its services to include college counseling, seminars, test proctoring, and education consulting. The CLC is in a new location that is centrally located on upper State Street with plenty of parking.
