Having scored in the 99th percentile on all the tests I teach, I know that catering lessons to each individual student is the best way to help them achieve their target score. All my tutoring students receive homework assignments after each lesson, and each assignment is tailored so that the effort students put in delivers the greatest possible return on their time. Practice tests help me assess what areas need the most attention and hold both me and my students accountable. My speciality is standardized admissions test like the SAT/ACT and GRE/GMAT. I offer in-home lessons to students in Manhattan or Brooklyn, and online lessons to students anywhere in the world. You can read one of my reviews on this page and more on my website or Facebook page. I am more than happy to provide references upon request, and I’m always available to answer any questions you may have so don’t be shy about reaching out :)I look forward to hearing from you! History Established in 2016. I started off at Kaplan, helping students prepare for the SAT and ACT. However I decided to start my own tutoring service to give my students a more personalized experience capable of delivering superior results.
I graduated in three years from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Psychology and concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience. I am currently a research assistant in Janet Metcalfe's lab at Columbia, where I study the conditions in which students learn most effectively. Test taking has always been one of my strengths, particularly standardized tests. I tutored throughout college, worked for Kaplan for a year, and have been teaching on my own for several years. I know how important admissions tests are, and how big of an impact they can have on admissions decisions. That's why I like doing this - the ability to have an impact. Your success is important to me!
