Helping build the strongest picture of you for college admissions is my goal as your college counselor. I work with you as your coach to help you build on your strengths and to find unrealized potential. At times, I will “strenuously urge” you to push harder; to go the extra step that will make you a stand-out candidate. Working as your advisor, I will encourage you to think about your potential college choices as types of nourishment. Which schools on your list will feed you intellectually and, of equal importance, socially.
The anxiety of presenting yourself before complete strangers, who will judge your performance alongside a thousand other hopefuls, deciding whether you are “right for the part” can seem overwhelming. We will combat this anxiety together, in part by working through the practical aspects of the process, such as completing and submitting applications and portfolios by their proper deadlines, and by preparing for testing, interviewing, and auditioning.
As your coach, I will work intensively with you and other experts toward the goal of presenting you as the best candidate in the strongest possible light.
